Obra Parasol I
Mexico City, MX. March 2021
We aspire to be gracious hosts, creating artworks that expand upon
our personal gathering spaces: our living room, dining room, and
home. Working together, we seek to embrace the others—the plural,
the diverse.
Every creative decision, for us, becomes an exchange of opinions, a
negotiation, and an agreement—much like a dialogue of shapes or a
conversation conveyed through drawing, telling a story.
Our approach revolves around achieving a balance of forces:
recognizing what belongs to you, what belongs to me, and what is
collectively ours.
Our art aims to create inviting spaces for the others. This time, Studio
Block M74 opened its doors and welcomed us into their community.
Obra Parasol I provides shade for its terrace, enhancing the gathering
space, out in the open.
